“Journaling helped me map out my pain and understand it. It helped me understand what shaped me to be who I am today. It helped me give myself permission to question the life I’d been living and start writing the life I want to live.” -Najwa Zebian

✅ Braveheart, each month I share the themes of Right Brain Planner resources.
➡️ Guide words that invite living + asking our questions [without apology or judgment] and [to know ourselves more fully] in the midst of our various 🎢 doubts and ongoing challenges.
💌 Invitations to live from the perspective of noticing + celebrating our [baby steps] and the various ways we have experienced [growth and personal clarity]—even as we continue to process all of these many details as an act of faith. 📿
This month, I share [embrace] and [release] as guide words to ponder, explore and journal* about.
*Also known as simply pondering/imagining; putting pen-to-paper; dated entries—in whatever form(s) is doable.
- Braveheart, journaling helps us to know our-selves, to identify specific patterns, thoughts and habits within our cycles of living.
- Why journal? 📚🖍️
💁🏻♀️ As I reflect on these two words, [embrace] prompts me to 🪄 celebrate everything that my life is (and is not) right now, and to [release] the details that didn’t work out like I hoped and imagined. 🔮
Freedom has been my word for 2026, and it has yielded increased peace of mind and being more willing to celebrate my life as it is and is not.
The details of my personal freedom continue to evolve and provide me affirmation regarding my choices about my 🦄🪄 creative work.
I have decided to focus on providing support options directly through my Ko-fi account.
The motivation behind my creative 📝🖌️✂️🫧 work is to assist others with establishing a creative practice by offering free and low-cost resources along with small-group, community support. 💞🫶
I host co-creating sessions, book discussions, monthly small-group discussions and co-creating sessions via Zoom for my Ko-fi patrons. 💗 (Scholarships are available.)
☑️ The Ko-fi download for November includes art, content + guiding templates to compile a personal assessment of strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities.
☑️ We will be meeting the third Saturday of November to discuss this theme and I will also be sharing some art journal prompts and ideas. I would love for {you} to join in, Braveheart! 💕

⭐️ I am an artist and curator; I am one who communicates with color, found words and collage, inky marks and doodles as I cycle like the moon (as my calendar), chronicling oracles and abiding with the sky as a meditation.
Artist’s Statement 😊🔮🔎📝🖌️🎨❤️📊
⭐️ I host creative communities, safe spaces for gathering and sharing. I choose love and creativity for coping with the ongoing challenges of this world and I go to work—not because everything is fine but because I believe art heals.
❤️ Braveheart, as the original Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! 🎉 For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred 👭🏽💞👭 communities. ✨ I consider it an absolute 🤸 delight to continue this portion of my creative 📝🖌️✂️🫧 work (even as I retire from full-time work).
- This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. (Thank you!) 💗 But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions). 🫶
- 💁🏻♀️ Other ways to support my work: ❤️ continue to read this blog + follow me on Instagram. 📲
