artist’s statement

Self-awareness is the basis of my artistic practice.

  • My journey to this place where I can consider myself an artist was intertwined with multiple challenges that led to self-discovery, healing and identifying my values.
  • The meaning within my creative work is rooted in self-reflection and the kindred conversations I have within the creative communities I host.

You yearn to createโ€”because creation is connection with the immortal and the divine.

Braveheart, thank you for your presence.

As as artist, I have been moving into a season of Less; the sometimes uncomfortable space of creating and ignoring algorithms.

Of negotiating “how to show up in a way that is generous and distinctive, and to refuse the bait that others take when they decide that feeding the algorithm” (Seth Godin) as I honor both my creative passion, but also my pace at this stage of my living.

Thank you kindly for your presence here.

I appreciate your interest and support.

    ~love & good wishes~

This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions).
