“Now I’m not saying that you won’t have many bad days where you feel incompetent and like you are flailing like a crazy person. As Kurt Vonnegut put it so perfectly, “When I write, I feel like an armless, legless man with a crayon in his mouth.” But at times you will also feel like you are able to leap over tall buildings with great ease if you go directly into that place you spent a lot of time when you were a kid, experimenting and making messes, and playing on the floor.” –Keri Smith
Week 18/52 was about dismantling fears, sunshine, pruning (literal and figuratively) ease and rest; and the manifestation of long-awaited dreams. ♥
Having a sense of structure in place makes “it is easier to thrive and flourish” (Julia Cameron). My creative structure (sequences and task lists + compiling these weekly summaries of what I am reading and observing) serves me as both a balm and compass.
The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.

Week 18/52 In-Review
Week 18/52 was a week of marvelous May storms and showers; celebrating Beltane; outdoor projects; giving myself [latitude] and some precious time and memories-made with my children and grandchildren.
The days of this week felt inspiring and healing — redemptive and life-giving! ♥

I think when we have been harmed, injured, or are having a tough time with a situation, we try to seek validation from others. We want to tell people our side of the story. … We do this because we want to be seen and heard and we want to know that this other person understands us.
