“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.” -Henry David Thoreau
Braveheart, how are you presently? Do you happen to need a starting point? ๐ I know I sure do! ๐ March was all about rest and recovery. (I had two cataract surgeries and started ever-slowly moving into a new season physical therapy.)
- Needless to say, I am more than ready to “launch myself on every wave” … ๐๐๐
- Needless to say, I am embracing the momentum of “gregarious and quiet” (the guide words for April).

April focus: living our questions from the perspective of both [gregariousness] and being [quiet] about living our questions and what-ifโs.
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ For April, the Ko-fi resources will focus on [dailies & baby-steps]. The content and templates are for discerning + discovering the necessary rituals for our well-being.
- ๐ข Quarter planning is part of our focus for 2026: Quarter-planning is a โslow-planโ option; a way to move away from 30-day (monthly) sprints. โ Enabling us to discern + discover the necessary rituals for our well-being.

“I live my life in ever-widening circles.” -Rilke
Acceptance is essential for moving through and living our ever-widening circles. And it usually includes moving through the discomfort of feeling disappointed, stalled or “behind” (or even invisible). โค๏ธ
Acceptance is acknowledging that everything cycles. It is not ignoring our challenges/realities or trying harder.
Acceptance can also be as simple as gregariously and/or quietly ๐คญ checking in with ourselves and mapping our current “location” in the universe:
- noting the current lunar phase ๐
- noticing the weather/season
- expressing (with words, color or doodles) what we are feeling, needing and noticing + reviewing our Life Quad + using guide words along the way โก๏ธโก๏ธโก๏ธ (free downloads below) ๐๏ธ

- Giving our attention to the cycles and phases of our living produces clarity.
- Life can be emotional. But like it or not, “[our emotions] are delivering information that is vital to our recovery” (Mary Pipher)โso taking note of that information is beneficial for us.
- Chronicling our key highlights, our wants and wishes and desiresโand celebrating everything we are being and doing is vital for our overall wellness.
- All of this fosters resiliency and a sense of ongoingness.
Braveheart, life is more like Chutes and Ladders than a linear, point-A-to-point-B experience.

This is why combining creativity with task lists, personal chronicles and processing notes is such a marvelous (and empowering) way through the mundane, and days of swirly emotions and thoughts. (As in, right brain planning.) ๐
Being willing to hold space with [what is] we are choosing to [be.here.now].
โก๏ธโก๏ธโก๏ธ Being willing to [be.here.now] means we can stop wishing our lives away [resisting what is and whatever we cannot change]. This is the beginning of peace, and thus, clarity and power.
Braveheart, I write about my creative practice + share ideas and printables because I know the value of simple systems that we can repeat with ease (and that increase our personal clarity and powerโwhile also reducing our feelings of overwhelm and being stuck).
Having some type of daily/weekly/monthly/lunarly ๐๐๐๐๐ system helps to manage the urge to jump from one project (idea or book, or conversation) to another.
โLet the thing you are doing be nothing, you are making nothing at all, you are just keeping your hands in motion, putting one thing down and then the next thing down and sometimes crying in between.โ -Lynda Barry
๐ฅ [Conscious Living] monthly themes & tabs for 2026
Right Brain Planner is a collection of lunar + seasonal prompts and journal-planning ideas to encourage self-compassion and review, reflection and expression, discovery and healing.
Braveheart, we learn by doing: we discover details about ourselves through chronicled observation ๐โ๏ธ๐ because everything we experience is data. ๐
Data is value-neutral; it is neither “good’ or “bad”โit is merely information to use for our choices, intentions and conclusions. Remembering this helps us to live free from judgment and shoulds.
Thank you kindly for your presence here.
I appreciate your interest and support.
~love & good wishes~

โค๏ธ Braveheart, as the Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! ๐ For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred ๐ญ๐ฝ๐๐ญ communities. โจ I consider it an absolute delight to continue this portion of my creative work (even as I retire from full-time work).
This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions).
