Braveheart, I share quotations here as “shorthand” regarding my journey. My focus for this year (2023) has been to belong to myself as a practice; to honor the tried-and-true reasons, lessons and backstories of my decisions this year.
New healing perspectives help me to know that missing someone is normal; but missing them doesn’t mean your relationship will not end up where it concluded the last time.
- I have focused on alchemic practices and memoir writing, being curious and attentive to the reality that making something when I am feeling something heals me.
- Reminding myself that life can get better, that I can create my own world and I can free myself; that the heart-broken can come to heartfelt rest.
