Braveheart, there is so much uncertainty in the world right now. Pair that with the multiple sources of uncertainty we experience personally … and it is certainly an invitation to maintain a gentle practice of openness and curiosity.
It has been a week of accepting Life’s irresistible invitation—day-by-day.
Life itself is an irresistible invitation. And it is to our advantage to accept said invitation. Adventures await along with idiosyncratic inner monologues [unique to us individually].
- Accepting this invitation ensures we will feel all the feelings.
- Accepting this invitation ensures that we will know that together we are stronger.
- Accepting this invitation ensures we will gain new perspectives.

Accepting Life’s irresistible invitation (day-by-day) is possible when we invest time and energy in hope.
Hope is not forced optimism; it is not a mindset that denies uncertainty. Hope (for me) looks like putting pen-to-paper first thing in the morning as a way of becoming grounded in the present moment.

“We all have our own treasured collections. … We all carry around the weird and wonderful things we’ve come across while doing our work and living our lives.” -Austin Kleon
I share about my right brain planning practice as a means of sharing the ideas and inspiration from my “treasured collections” … and as a reminder that together we are stronger. We all have our challenges and fears.
Fear informs us that something matters.
When something matters, our fears rise as a point of clarity. Hope does not have to override the facts and realities pertaining to our fears.
Hope (for me) looks like choosing to admit whatever I am feeling without judgment or resistance. Reminding myself to remain open and curious, because more than one outcome is always possible.

“Deciding now frees up your most valuable asset, time, so you can go work on something else.” -Seth Godin
Hope (for me) is a decision. It looks like putting pen-to-paper first thing in the morning as a way of becoming grounded in the present moment—freeing up my mind to move through my fears about uncertainties.
Hope is a decision to prioritize my creative practice as a sacred part of my living, allowing me to devote time and attention to what I need and desire.

“The person I am becoming will experience more [joy/peace/gratitude].” -Dr. Nicole LePera
Right Brain Planner is a collection of lunar + seasonal prompts and journal-planning ideas to encourage self-compassion and review, reflection and expression, discovery and healing.
Braveheart, we learn by doing: we discover details about ourselves through chronicled observation 👀✍️📔 because everything we experience is data. 📊
Data is value-neutral; it is neither “good’ or “bad”—it is merely information to use for our choices, intentions and conclusions. Remembering this helps us to live free from judgment and shoulds.
