quarter moon prompt & free templates sampler (booklet)

[from my journal-planner stack: black and white processing journal; October-November lunar cycle booklet; a mini-journal from the 2024 Kit and the Acknowledge download]

This is the first, the wildest and the wisest thing I know: that the soul exists and is built entirely out of attentiveness.

Mary Oliver

Braveheart, how often do you give your attention to (and acknowledge) your progress?

The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed — to be seen, heard and companioned exactly as it is.

Parker J. Palmer

This past week, I was able to spend time with kindred friends (to be see and heard and companioned) and — as always — art-making contributed to my ongoingness.

I realized I needed to remind myself about my options — to jot down possibilities. So, I compiled a template to help me with that. 😊 And I am sharing a copy with you!

[This free download is available until October 31, 2023.]

This 4-panel booklet is in landscape format and includes:

  • a lunar art prompt template
  • content regarding acknowledging our progress
  • prompts and journal template panels
  • a reminder that you have options, Braveheart ♥

Suggested Use: Fold the pages into a booklet -or- cut and paste elements into your journal or planner. 😊 (Or — print extra pages and do both.)

I am learning to savor my options to rest, slow-read and write (especially when I “feel all the feelings” and become overwhelmed).

Braveheart, I hope you will set aside some time to consider your options, to rest and do things that renew you. Check in with the people you care about, enjoy a walkabout at a nearby park, treat yourself to a special meal … and remind yourself: “I have options.”

Thank you kindly for your presence here, Braveheart.

I appreciate your interest and support.

~love & good wishes~

2024 Right Brain Planner® Kit [Theme] Kaleidoscope Perspectives ✨ [Focus] — Noticing Beauty (within the kaleidoscope of your living: the ongoing, ever-changing “formations” of color and meaning)

❤️ Braveheart, as the Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner® I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators since 2008! 🎉 This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and subscriptions).

The principal goal of Right Brain Planner® is to foster a daily journal practice that facilitates self-trust and wholeheartedly-living what matters most. (Saving yourself from living the same life over and over.)

Right Brain Planner® is an intuitive planning system that encourages the habit of trusting yourself; a resource to facilitate a journal-planning practice that chronicles your feelings and desires + your options and micro-movements in the direction of your dreams.

The focus in developing a right brain planning practice is to see your living as ongoing — a timeline [days within years; years within a lifetime].

  • To resist the urge to allow a “bad day” or a “bad week” to become a filter — a lens — that limits your ability to hope and live differently.
  • Easing away from a performance-based valuation of self-worth; cycling like the moon and exploring so-called irregularity (stops and starts) as a cycle of wholeness.

Right brain planning is an opportunity to allow your journal to be your “planner” — elevating expression and desires over expectations and shoulds.
