Braveheart, at the beginning of this month I mentioned moving into a new creative season.

I have been focused on snipping the ties of perfectionism and the various ways I become entangled before getting clarity regarding my plans.
- Meeting my ๐๐ค๐พ perfectionism with self-kindness instead of self-loathing, and an imaginary ๐ช cookie. ๐
- Reminding myself that my life ๐ฎ (my wishes, want-to’s and memories) are worth writing about, remembering and celebrating. ๐ฅณ
- Committing to prioritizing time with my kindred friends and community. ๐
โ When we resist devoting time to our well-being and chronicling our living (and being with our community) we default to a focus on our miss-takes (self-loath; doubt; stall).
We begin to waste time and energy fighting with what we are feeling and thinkingโinstead of collaborating with it. ๐๐ช๐ฆ๐ฅณ
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ And, of course, there is often a fair amount of shaming (self) and blaming (others).
โ And yet, once we name + acknowledge [shame and blame] we can begin to dismantle those details and determine Truth.
“Action is the antidote to despair.” -Mary Pipher

“We donโt have to share everything with everyone, but we can choose to open up to the people we trust instead of assuming they canโt handle the truth or will find it too heavy.” -Nedra Glover Tawwab
๐ I am especially grateful for a beloved community of friends and the literal years we have invested in relationship and collaboration. During the past few months, I have been able to puzzle-out some of the details of what I am envisioning.
- Being in a kindred community is also a way to remember that โก๏ธ we each struggle with a wide variety of situations.
- As in, we are never “the only one” dealing with certain ๐ฎ predicaments and dilemmas. ๐
- Choosing to live freely is to take the path less traveled; it requires vulnerability (best served with community support). ๐โ

โ๏ธ Going forward, I am excited to have a singular focus regarding support options for my Ko-fi account. And I would love for {you} to join in, Braveheart! ๐

Beginning December 2026, I will be publishing quarterly guides for 2027 along with supplemental resources for my Ko-fi patrons.
This web site is a collection of lunar + seasonal prompts and journal-planning ideas to encourage self-compassion + expression (verbal-processing and art journaling) and devoting attention and review (meditation and prayer).
Braveheart, we learn by doing: we discover details about ourselves through dated, chronicled observations ๐โ๏ธ๐ because everything we experience is data. ๐
Data is value-neutral; it is neither “good’ or “bad”โit is merely information to use for our choices, intentions and conclusions. Remembering this helps us to live free from judgment and shoulds.
Thank you kindly for your presence here.
I appreciate your interest and support.
~love & good wishes~

โค๏ธ Braveheart, as the original Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! ๐ For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred ๐ญ๐ฝ๐๐ญ communities. โจ I consider it an absolute delight to continue this portion of my creative work (even as I retire from full-time work).
This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. โค๏ธ But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons.
