“[The] real cost of never slowing down. It is not just exhaustion. It is disconnection from the part of the self that already knows which direction to move in. A person who is out of touch with themselves does not stop receiving guidance, they just stop being able to hear it, and so they trip over the same patterns and miss the same turns again and again without understanding why.” -Ethan Hawke
For me, the past few months has been all about ๐ slowing down (and letting go) + prioritizing the desires of my heart + the people I love the most. ๐
Age-related health challenges + cancer have served as Divine reminders that each year of living involves essential points of letting go + knowing my path.
๐โจ These months have served to reconnect me with what matters most to me. ๐ฅณ

“Death spreads all over our lives and therefore faith must be given to see through the darkness, to see through the beauty of the ‘valley of the shadow of death.'” -Makoto Fujimura

๐ It is the slowing down + writing [it] down that allows us to be aware๐ชฝ of what matters most, Braveheart. โก๏ธ And that is why I have already chosen the book for my next book discussion:

To facilitate living differently, often we must begin with seeing ourselves differently.
We must begin to see ourselves within our humanity and our capacity for ongoingness.
๐ช Braveheart, we can live differently, and our dreams can come true, day-by-day. ๐ฎ “The present moment allows us to trust what will follow and to trust that the past brought us here” (Terry Tempest Williams).
Thank you kindly for your presence here, Braveheart. ๐
I appreciate your interest and support.
~love & good wishes~

โญ๏ธ I am an artist and curator; I am one who communicates with color, found words and collage, inky marks and doodles as I cycle like the moon (as my calendar), chronicling oracles and abiding with the sky as a meditation.
โญ๏ธ I host creative communities, safe spaces for gathering and sharing. I choose love and creativity for coping with the ongoing challenges of this world and I go to workโnot because everything is fine but because I believe art heals.
โค๏ธ Braveheart, as the Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! ๐ For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred ๐ญ๐ฝ๐๐ญ communities. โจ I consider it an absolute ๐คธ delight to continue this portion of my creative ๐๐๏ธโ๏ธ๐ซง work (even as I retire from full-time work).
- This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. (Thank you!) ๐ But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions). ๐ซถ
