August-September lunar templates book
No matter what is missing, I hope you know this: you have what you need to live a beautiful story. Your story is rich in texture, color, history, and possibility.

Braveheart, I am dealing with the usual “obstacle course” required for any type of personal goal in my attempt to develop a plan for my writing.
- In my research I learned that the average reader can read 238 words per minute when reading silently.
- This is an important guideline for me because I want to share posts that can be read quickly + offer ideas for doable daily practices.
So, I decided to compile a quick list of what I am actually accomplishing — as a reminder to both of us that things take time, and most everything we desire will require more time than we originally believe and plan for.
Recurring theme in my brain: I am everything I have lived. There are no miss-takes. Everything counts.
Things I have been doing:
- living my dailies differently in simple ways
- oracle card art and ideas
- An introduction to mudras
- moving slowly and letting joy in
- daily walkabouts with my grrl ♥
- assessing where I give my time/energies (reference: Balancing the 3 Cs)
- [discerning what we need to be doing with my hours]
- after a season of devoting almost all of my time to my relationships, I am preparing to shift to more solitude and self-directed learning
- processing familial memories (the good, the bad and the ugly) with more clarity and acceptance regarding what cannot be changed
- daily check-in’s with my dad […]

Attuned choice by attuned choice, your entire life is a form of self-expression. You exist as a creative being in a creative universe. A singular work of art.
Rick Rubin
- reviewing the basics of planning (via Bullet Journal)
- pondering the fact that “before [any relationship] is formed, you must pass judgment” (Senaca) and the reality that for any relationship to continue judgment (assessments; discernment) continue to determine the status of that relationship
- discussing the seasons of motherhood with two trusted (and very long-term) friends (one who now has two of her four children in college and one who is sifting; spoiler alert, I wouldn’t change a thing — but I am delighted that those days have concluded for me
