Art isn’t a result; it’s a journey. The challenge of our time is to find a journey worthy of your heart and your soul.

[November pages in the altered book I am using as one of my right brain planners]
Pause is the guide word (from the 2023 Right Brain Planner Kit) for November; a word that pairs well with reflection for the purpose of embracing the condition of change.
[November: pause + the condition of change] and two free downloads
November’s download for my Ko-fi patrons ➡️➡️➡️ includes content, art ✂️🤲📝 and prompts for 🔭💜 [being in-touch] and compassionately (and creatively) holding 💢 space to build awareness.
- I am including two oracle cards [Fox, from the Scavenger’s Oracle guidebook — by the fabulous @peonyblue, and Deer, from Animal Allies deck by Jessica Swift].
- Oracle cards 🖍️along with ✒️📖🖌️ mark-making and doodling are daily starting points for me.
- ➡️➡️➡️ And also when 💁🏻♀️ I feel stuck, 🤪😜😝 fragmented or overwhelmed. 🙆🏻♀️
Unless we embrace the condition of change, the past will act as an anchor, preventing growth.

October’s guide word was [decide].
- That led [guided me] to changes and final decisions about pending tasks and details; deciding what journal-planners I would be using for 2024 + the specifics of how I would be using my journal-planners.
- I also decided to declutter my physical studio space — and begin purging digital files.
- Dealing with digital clutter: What it is and 6 places to practice digital minimalism | “too much information crowding your device can be just as anxiety-inducing as traditional messes”
- I decided to resume weekly writing online as a part of tracking my right brain planning practice.
Does it help?
In the process of the many other decisions (and decluttering), I also started reviewing previous blog posts and journal pages as a point of evaluating patterns of my practice.
- This is helping me to decide what is helpful for me (what to keep) and what to delete; “if it doesn’t help, or you don’t know what it’s for, perhaps it’s time to revisit your choice” (Seth Godin, Does it help?)
[Samhain] 🍂
💛 Braveheart, dates and calendar 🗓️ years are not as relevant or memorable as personal 💞 anniversaries, seasons 💫 and celestial 🌌 cycles — particularly with regard to personal 🔭 perspective and 📊 progress, discovery, 🗣️expression and 📈♻️ growth.
🌐 These personal points of progress and development occur subtly within the ⏳ hours of our days and into weeks — and without 🙈🙉🧟♀️ notice — if we do not employ some type of chronicling.
🍀 This is why I am a right brain planner; my journal is my “planner” and it is sacred space 📿🔮📖🖌️ to connect with all the pieces 🧩 of me.
Thank you kindly for your presence here, Braveheart.
I appreciate your interest and support.
