“Feelings are not a binary experience. Grief is not relative. Pain is not contingent. That means you get to feel gratitude and also heartache. You get to enjoy some parts of life while war rages on, and also be angry at other parts. You get to be around people you love all day and also miss the people you are not with. You get to be okay one day and not okay the next. You get to mix stripes with florals. You get to have a full range of seemingly contradictory feelings and experiences, and so do others. May we grant ourselves and each other that breadth now and always.” –Lisa Congdon
Braveheart, what are you working through? ♥
- How does what you are feeling affect your dailies (what you are working through)?
- How do you think your feelings affect [influence, alter, derail, facilitate] your dailies?
- Do you track your feelings (thoughts and behaviors)?
The thing I call ‘my mind’ seems to be kind of like a landlord that doesn’t really know its tenants.

During the past few months I have been tracking my feelings + how I am using my time, because change is only possible when we are aware of our default patterns (aka the place we start from …).
Having a visual record has been clarifying, and it allows me to separate “fact from fiction” (and to cope when I fall into a mindset of “I always …” and/or “I never …” with regard to what I am capable of living [understanding and overcoming]).
Without understanding how our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors work together, it’s almost impossible to find our way back to ourselves and each other.

I have been allowing the monthly word prompts and quotations from the 2024 Kit to guide me through the details of aligning with the desired changes I desire for my life.
Having a system, a scaffolding of sorts, provides us with starting points + helps us to show up for ourselves on the page as we align our values with our actions.
- The 2024 Annual Kit provides instructional content to guide you in establishing a right brain planning practice.
The 2024 Annual Kit includes:
(1) Guide — content and principles regarding a right brain planning practice to foster your attention regarding your “constellations” [patterns, habits and rhythms] and compassion.
(2) Prompts and Template Pages — basic principles for a right brain planning practice including monthly guide words, prompts, art and themed content to provide a framework for a calendar year.
Thank you kindly for your presence here, Braveheart.
I appreciate your interest and support.
