“We must recollect ourselves, recollect the inner drama, the narrative of ourselves. A [woman] needs such a narrative, a continuous in narrative, to maintain [her] identity [her] self.” -Oliver Sacks
♻️ Last week, as a reset, I added art (from the Right Brain Planning Basics Guide) to playing cards to create some visual prompts to remind me of the basics of right brain planning.
- This is my second set … because I couldn’t put my hands on the first one I made. 😊
Braveheart, to compile a narrative—and foster a sense of ongoingness—we need support and prompts, resources and routines within a practice of self-compassion.
- This is one of the main reasons why I compile right brain planning resources. ❤️
These resources serve as a means of expanding your practice and exploring the day-to-day application of the monthly themes included this guide.
I also provide guiding content here, on my blog and Instagram. These chronicles help me to connect to my story-unfolding, to recollect. 🧮

My dailies are currently full with precious time with visiting family members and friends, thus my creative work time is currently limited (in the best of ways!). 🎉
But I am setting aside time to write here as a remembrance of this time, personal mile 🚩 markers, because I am experiencing so many dreams-come-true right now! 🥳
“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself that you tasted as many as you could.”

Right Brain Planner is a collection of lunar + seasonal prompts and journal-planning ideas to encourage self-compassion and review, reflection and expression, discovery and healing.
Braveheart, we learn by doing: we discover details about ourselves through chronicled observation 👀✍️📔 because everything we experience is data. 📊
Data is value-neutral; it is neither “good’ or “bad”—it is merely information to use for our choices, intentions and conclusions. Remembering this helps us to live free from judgment and shoulds.
Thank you kindly for your presence here.
I appreciate your interest and support.

❤️ Braveheart, as the Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! 🎉 For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred 👭🏽💞👭 communities. ✨ I consider it an absolute delight to continue this portion of my creative work (even as I retire from full-time work).
This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions).
