I do not at all understand the mystery of grace—only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us.

I am facing a long-term 💔 challenge, and thus, I have been on the look-out 🔎 for ways to endure its details, but also to alchemize the details of my days for my overall well-being.
The guide words for May are [new freedom] and that has helped me to focus on new ways to 📝 process my worry and sorrow.
- Scroll down ⬇️ to download the tracker I will be using to foster my day-by-day well-being during a 365-day timeline.
What if your memories are misleading you?
- This post by Ryder Carroll poses this question, and presents why it is important to devote time and energies to a written chronicle:
- A dated journal to foster + direct focus and attention.
- A written chronicle for processing notes, discoveries and consolations—as solace as well as a reference to overcome a negative bias.
What if your memories are misleading you? What if your worries are unfounded? What if the best-case scenarios and outcomes prevail?
- I have been considering simple ways to chronicle the next year, day-by-day + honor what I need right now to accurately access + remember my living.
- Yesterday I read this post by Maria Popova—it felt like the ideal example of seeing both sides of living and loving. 😊
- The artwork of the quarter 🌓 moon was an appealing visual to practice giving my attention to both “sides” of my feelings and living (the dark and the light).

To pay close attention to and mostly accept your life, inside and out and around your body, is to be halfway home.

To foster my well-being, I will begin with a 365-day timeline for daily-ish check-ins. My start date is June 1, 2025 and I will be using the tracker below. ⬇️
If you are interested in tracking your own “half-room/both-sides” progress, feel free to use this template (and to begin any time, because any day can be Day One). 😊

*Use this dot tracker template as a simple daily-ish check-in with yourself: a mindful pause + way of being present while also consciously tracking what you are being intentional about during a 365-day time period.
Life is the story you tell yourself. But how you tell that story—are you a hero, victim, lover, warrior, caretaker, believer—matters a great deal. How you adapt that story—how you revise, rethink, and rewrite your personal narrative as things change, lurch, or go wrong in your life—matters even more.

⭐️ I am an artist and curator; I am one who communicates with color, found words and collage, inky marks and doodles as I cycle like the moon (as my calendar), chronicling oracles and abiding with the sky as a meditation.
⭐️ I host creative communities, safe spaces for gathering and sharing. I choose love and creativity for coping with the ongoing challenges of this world and I go to work—not because everything is fine but because I believe art heals.
❤️ Braveheart, as the Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! 🎉 For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred 👭🏽💞👭 communities. ✨ I consider it an absolute delight to continue this portion of my creative work (even as I retire from full-time work).
- This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions). 🫶
