“You make time for what you want. If you are not prioritizing the things you say you care about, consider the possibility that you don’t actually care about those things.” -Elle Luna
Braveheart, after a lifetime of envisioning, striving and planning out the details of my life, I have come to know that meaning (experiencing audacious dreams) does not require glorifying productivity (striving and planning).

“True spaciousness of the soul is having the will and courage to experience things as they are.” -Christine Valters Painter
For the past seven years I have been sorting through a deep sense of loss (actual losses + realities that felt like loss).
It has been a raw and vulnerable time BUT also an empowering and healing time, providing me with clarity, closure and resolve. ❤️
“Orphaned voices. They seemed to speak for all the unlived parts of me, and they came with a force and dazzle that I couldn’t contain. I know now that they were the clamor of a new self struggling to be born.” -Sue Monk Kidd
Braveheart, I have lived almost every dream I have for my life, but it has taken some time (and therapy) to believe the unlived parts of myself are still possible (details serving as guiding stars).
“You don’t have to overhaul your life—you just have to explore it.” -Anne-Laure Le Cunff

For a variety of reasons I have lived my life with an “all or nothing” mindset, success and failure. Prioritizing [more] and [more]—without acknowledging that meaning does not require glorifying productivity (striving and planning).
I have lived my life with an overwhelming amount of self-blame and shame. But there has been a major paradigm shift, and that is changing. Dramatically.
Braveheart, our days are numbered. How will we experience today? What has waited long enough?

“When you are completely caught up in something, you become oblivious to things around you, or to the passage of time. It is this absorption in what you are doing that frees your unconscious and releases your creative imagination.” -Rollo May

⭐️ I am an artist and curator; I am one who communicates with color, found words and collage, inky marks and doodles as I cycle like the moon (as my calendar), chronicling oracles and abiding with the sky as a meditation.
⭐️ I host creative communities, safe spaces for gathering and sharing. I choose love and creativity for coping with the ongoing challenges of this world and I go to work—not because everything is fine but because I believe art heals.
