In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die
And where you invest your love, you invest your life
In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die
And where you invest your love, you invest your life
🔭 My focus & reminder to myself: Resolve doesn’t mean we don’t become weary and disoriented. 😪
⚖️ Fatigue and overwhelmed are our cue to pause or to pivot, 🤔 assess and evaluate–and sometimes to simply opt out. 💢
The details of my next chapter have become clear (after some weeks of wandering). My resolve was officially reset during a conversation with my son last week.
- I am ever-grateful for a lifetime of conversations that started before he was not yet earth-side; 💚his faithfulness, honesty and love have always comforted and inspired me.
- I am also grateful to be involved with kindred communities; those conversations (along with years of book discussions) are life-giving and inspire me to think beyond my (perceived) limits.

This past weekend I started asking [what-if?] questions like this one. As I reviewed my current practice, I decided to begin tiny experiments (greatly inspired by this book).
- And to compile a line-by-line journal of grounding statements.
- I invite you to join me (because any day can be Day One):

🔮 Creating my own world has become a long-standing habit. There is a major backstory for this, partly inspired by discussing this book in a kindred community during the year of 2022:

You must be open to all impressions and let your thoughts take color from what you see.
Robert Louis Stevenson
Compiling book-notes and quotations (along with participating in book discussions) represent a major part of my right brain planning practice.
Words (and colors) are guides and offer starting points—self-chosen cues to redirect your thoughts and actions; prompts for a different perspective.
- Words can also serve as points of summary, closure, resolve and inspiration.
- Using single words or phases also helps to sharpen your focus and intent.
- Color always comes in handy, ’cause sometimes ya’ make your own 🌈rainbows, Braveheart.

What are ways you can create for yourself? What would the details be of creating your own world?

Your magic is your capacity; it is the love and time you give to yourself and to the world; it includes the wise boundaries you have determined to protect your peace. And it also includes the hours of rest and ease you offer to yourself.
Time is finite.
What are your coming chapters?
Resist the default of waiting until “someday” (because it is not on any calendar) and the way live each day directly reflects who and what is most important to us.
- It reflects how well we tend to what we need and desire for our wild and precious lives.
Thank you kindly for your presence here, Braveheart.
I appreciate your interest and support.
~love & good wishes~

2025 Right Brain Planner theme is [Chapters 📖 The Magic of Your Story Unfolding]. I publish cyclical resources + quarterly guides with art and instructional content. ✨

⭐️ I am an artist and curator; I am one who communicates with color, found words and collage, inky marks and doodles as I cycle like the moon (as my calendar), chronicling oracles and abiding with the sky as a meditation.
⭐️ I host creative communities, safe spaces for gathering and sharing. I choose love and creativity for coping with the ongoing challenges of this world and I go to work—not because everything is fine but because I believe art heals.
❤️ Braveheart, as the Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! 🎉 For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred 👭🏽💞👭 communities. ✨ I consider it an absolute delight to continue this portion of my creative work (even as I retire from full-time work).
- This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions). 🫶
