We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already.
~J.K. Rowling

I have been rerouting the power within me in a circular motion this week. As I face several writing deadlines — some required, others optional — it is my intention to abide in grace {even as my mind races with accusations of being behind} …

When my pain levels increase, my ability to concentrate decreases; writing requires concentration. :?

It becomes imperative that I cast down imaginations, and abide {with note cards for inspirations} and rest … and trust in the knowledge that pain cycles are circular, too. This, too, will pass. And I will meet those deadlines, and my writing goals will continue to be accomplished. ♥

The power within has never failed me, Braveheart.

A quick admin note: If you submitted an art journaling guest post, it will be published. The arrangement and compilation of submissions is something I consider carefully; it is my practice to exercise as much care and attention as the individual artists-authors did in presenting their post.

About My Friday Five: Erica {an amazing ♥ friend, artist and “songbird”} inspires me to consider the moments within my day — to note themes and inspirations. And she has a new series on Fridays: an open invitation to share bits and pieces of beauty from your weekWhich inspired me to begin posting my own “Friday Five” … themes, rituals and observations of my week.
