Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration …

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It’s yours. ~Ayn Rand

There are times in our lives when the reality of our loneliness suffocates us. When we feel trapped, paralyzed  and unable to reason our way out of our reality. It is not the severity or impossibility of the reality, it is that we are alone … or that we feel alone …

Maybe I just wanted to say: love me. choose me. pick me. yes, that sounds about right. ~Shelby

Somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow I am living the death drop. I’m feeling the grip of gravity toward an uncertain end. I’m feeling the fear, fast and furious, as I’m propelled off the heights of imagined safety. ~Rebekah

So … we begin.

We dare ourselves to take baby steps of decision and progress {in the direction of our dreams}. We begin to sit with our choices, abide in the uncertainly … and even embrace the darkness of the unknown.

Multiple seasons have just shifted in my life. I’m reorienting. I’m pulling out seasonal supplies that I haven’t used. I’m gearing up. ~Mandy T.

It started with a post about naming. Some of the words stirred my soul in a way that I just couldn’t put my finger on. I knew that naming was an important part of my awakening. ~Heather

[Naming] … Owning these moments that I live in, aware, awake, and completely committed to now, is a whole new kind of life. ~Rain

A declaration {naming how we feel, what we believe, what we aspire to be or to do} is an irreplaceable spark — it lights a fire within and for others!  Naming allows us to break through false beliefs, to rearrange the pieces of our one wild and precious life — to overcome denial and liberate ourselves.

What’s it like to have wings and to go wherever you please? What’s it like to trust the falls, to purposely not flap your wings sometimes, just to see where the air will take you? ~Mandy S.

{saying yes} to relationship

— and to life!

The cutout in this graphic reminder prompts me to live undaunted. To continually overcome my own fear {paranoia} about trusting and being in the midst of the unknowns of living with MS — and risking the investment of commitment and loving. Deeply.

It was designed and created by my amazing friend and designer, Abbi Z. {and presented with other gifts to our Yes Tribe} … and I adore having it close. It is a tangible reminder of the sparks of love and care in my life.

Each friend represents a world in us, a world not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born. ~Anais Nin

This post is a glimpse of my new world. A world born because women in-process dared to whisper, “Me, too.” … To reach across state lines and hold hands in the dark places; to lift hands in celebration as we crossed over former boundaries to our courage!

Women who travel to Haiti and {visually} remind us to love {in-heart and in deeds} across continents.

Individual women who vowed not to let the hero in her soul perish. Women who right now are embracing all of what living in a new world is about!

P.S. … right now I am “visiting” the beach with Elora and Prudy, as they share secret messages and ocean side views that give me life via Instagram and text messaging.

This is a beautiful composition! I LOVE the way you weaved each soul’s personal expression into a mirror reflection of how you see us. Wow. So “twisted” good!

Oh, Rebekah! I am so glad to see your comment! Thank you!

I also love the serendipity of me trying to turn off the option of comments, but it keeps “not working” ;)

Because I also simply must include this quote from Messy Canvas:

“To believe I can’t mess things up and I can’t be in the wrong place when I’m listening to the desires of my heart. Today I believe in people finding their own way, and me cheering them on through the motions of me finding my own way.”

Oh this! Yes. That last quote really spoke to me by Anais Nin. Indeed, a whole new world has opened up and been birthed in my life this year through my sacred sojourners.

I got teary eyed as i read that first quote, and it only continued as I saw you weaving our stories into this beautiful tapestry. You bless my soul so much. I dream of the day I can be near you in real life and just hug you tight. You are a treasure.

Yes, as Shelby said, this post is a rich tapestry. I love to see my color threads up close to all of yours. Thanks for writing this. It’s a gift.

My kindreds, my tribal sisters … I love you. Your love is life-giving; and our tapestry is a visual of our beauty and courage, and our journey. ♥
