Using the power of decision gives you the capacity to get past any excuse to change any and every part of your life in an instant. ~Anthony Robbins
My word for this week is decide. I am brainstorming {and deciding upon} action regarding an editorial calendar {and reTooling} for this blog. {Without action, decisions are merely stop signs in the middle of the deserted highway.} #secretmessage
reTooling will reflect this list of practices {compiled in August}. An MS flare-up “aided” my resolve regarding this list as well as delaying progress — reminding me to abide in the flow of energy: To practice being committed to a intuitive-paced fulfillment of this list.
- daily/weekly solitude, meditation, rest and art
- compile lists of want-to’s {and decluttering need-to’s}
- define, map and pursue personal {want-to’s}
- collage/doodle/write in {dream} journals
- nurture friendships with people who both comfort and clarify
- collaborate with kindred spirits {who dare to dream aloud}
I reordered the original list to reflect my intention to decide daily in order to ensure wellness {mind, body, spirit} is my most important priority.
What my dailies mean for Right Brain Planner:
- reality blogging
my dailies {practices; wellness; art journaling; projects} will be shared {and demonstrated} - links of my go-to sites {art-full and insightful bloggers whose words resonate with/inspire me} will be featured
- keywords and “mind maps” of how I follow a flow of “research” {serendipity; themes; secret messages}
- book notes and excerpts {here and on my goodreads.com page}
- music links!
I listen to a wide variety of music when I journal/move through difficult times {what are your favs?} - contemplative photography — exploring it and posting tips and explanations [book review]; using Flickr and Instagram; considering PoGo Instant Printer {if I can work out iPhone’s compatibility issues}
- downloads {forms, idea sheets, prompts, tips, quotations, etc.} based upon comment feedback and the fruit of collaborations {I would love your ideas!}
- {it is my hope that} collaborations will occur here and.or Facebook … and a possible private group
- I appreciate your time and how vulnerable it is to leave a comment or ask a question.
- I believe the bud of your courage will bloom when you take baby steps into vulnerable. ♥
- Collaboration will allow us to {discover and} piece together our personal creative planning puzzle:
- … each of us holds a piece to the puzzle.
- When we come together, offering our piece …
- … we are able to “see” it more completely.
So, let’s collaborate.
Again, my humble request to you, dear reader: To collaborate {inquire//discuss//comment} here and.or Facebook.
The intent of Right Brain Planner blog is to foster a collaborative {wiki} planning system — accommodating the distinct flow of the creative mind — by and for out-of-the-box, right brain thinkers and life-doers.
This means you personally are most cordially invited to submit comments regarding:
- your questions
- likes {and dislikes}
- discoveries {and difficulties}
- even other blogs you find useful
- {fill in the blank … }

This does not mean you must compile the “perfect” comment or edit yourself because you believe what you have to say is not important. ♥
Simply comment what pops into your mind:
- “This works for me, too!”
- “Useful. But do you have more information about …”
- “Here is a link I recommend for …”
- “I have no idea what you are talking about.” Because sometimes what I write doesn’t make sense to anyone living outside my right brain!

Decide….
Walking in the decision to live each day vulnerable, choosing joy
Deciding to live more purposeful … to be part of the conversation.
to offer up my part realizing the whole comes when joined by others
I see your secret message.
Decide and act. Man, you make it sound so easy.
hum…
decisions, making them, is just about the most difficult thing on this planet, i find…
on the cusp of one at the moment, and i’m feeling really nervous…
about the consequences, mainly… the responsibility of it…
thinking about your challenge-thing (another decision…)
Hmm, I cannot be sure how I never replied to your kindness and such brave declarations, Glenda, Mandy and Daan … My apologies.
It is a blessing to share this journey with each of you … ♥
Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow. ~Mary Anne Radmacher
