Art is what happens when you dare to be who you really are. ~Emily Freeman

I feel like I have fallen … and I can’t get up. I will … eventually. But I have decided to honor the falling — the not getting up. It will be my focus during Art Every Day Month, initiated by Leah Piken Kolidas. Because if I do so, I will be able to accomplish the writing schedule I outlined for November. Continue reading

Rumpled Love + Lent; Letting go + Living Free

52 Weeks of Noting {collage and creative record} 1/52

Life moves on, whether we act as cowards or heroes. Life has no other discipline to impose, if we would but realize it, than to accept life unquestioningly. Everything we shut our eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny, denigrate or despise, serves to defeat us in the end. What seems nasty, painful, evil, can become a source of beauty, joy and strength, if faced with an open mind. This card includes keywords that aid me in my vision for service offerings and art sales in 2013. To focus on what I value, new ideas and interests; to say yes … and to believe in my worth and expertise as a freelance artist and solopreneur.

★ Each Friday, I will create a small collage using a playing card and random elements. My mission is to creatively document the keywords, colors and.or lessons of each week. I will post each week’s card here on Saturdays. Join me? Let’s share our creative cards {and discoveries} during 2013! Use hashtag #my52cards on Twitter and Instagram, tag photos on Flickr my52cards …

Organization for creatives {right brain planners} is not about having everything in its place.
